Do you have a good computer? I've been very pleased with some local models but If you don't have a good system already I don't think you can run one with tooluse etc for coding. 6Gb vram is like absolute bare minimum afaik.

and by bare minimum I mean you can do things but its terribly slow. I've been very pleased with a 24Gb vram card and throwing some extra models for special tasks on a 6Gb but testing showed the 6gb card was able to do real work just not at speed.

no i wasnt really a big gamer when i had money. i had no time for that. most of my video cards pre-date llms being popular.
