I know this sounds like a gooker post but I'm serious

i think i suck at chess because i'm impulsive. the base mechanic of the game is calculation, you have to calculate more accurately and more deeply than your opponent in order to win, but i just want to play the game and move the pieces, so i rely on intuition and just play the first thing on my mind because i hate actually thinking. a lot of people are like this which is why bullet is a popular game mode even for 100 elo shitters.
