you can fix the 403 by adding "noreferrer" to the rel attribute on the link (checked with inspect element).
but i wonder what he added to block from fetching the text, probably just blocked requests from the soupchan server IP, might have to go through a proxy. or if it's blocking robots, add a realistic user-agent to the request.

he doesn't need to do that. the server IP is public, you can just ping soupchan.org to get it. you can hide it through services like cloudfare, that's how you avoid DDoS attacks and filter undesirables.
it just sucks that we can't have nice things. we make fun of some feels post and the glowmin wants to block us. fortunately, i think matty can get around it pretty easily.
