lol, it really is. it's a shame because some anime has a good initial concept, but the execution is so dogshit. i really want to like "smoking behind the supermarket with you" but it's hard to get through an episode, even though it's like barely 20 minutes. i just hate all the gay anime mannerisms and the subtitles sound so unnatural and cringe, but the overall concept is very unique and charming.

i wish i could like anime. the art style is usually good, but i just... can't stand actually watching it!!!!!
