based post ngl.
You know: I used to do original research to try stand out and build my portfolio. Part of what made it hard was the difficulty of doing the implementations. Because there is a shit load that goes into trying getting something to work that has never been done before.
Then AI came along and I wasn't using it. and increasingly incredibly mediocre people started to overtake me. Since they could turn a half-baked idea into something that worked in an afternoon. over what would take me about 1 - 6 months of effort.
i think you're still giving yourself an edge learning the fundamentals. everyone today is just making claude do everything. zoomers use AI to cheat on learning and fake skills.

zoomies are the ones losing out because they will never understand how computers work or experience the joy of building something yourself. as they delegate more and more of their cognitive tasks to this machine, they will only become stupider and stupider.

just use claude. if you dont you'll end up losing to zoomers who are typing: "make minecraft no mistakes"

like every woman? you're satisfied with what you have because that's all that you can get, but then this miracle drug takes off all your fat and you start looking kind of good plus you're famous so of course you're gonna FUCK if someone is offering. it sucks because the majority of people just settle for the best that they can get, so after any kind of looks/status change, they immediately want to trade up. after they get a divorce, he'll get a hotter girlfriend with a better personality. he can start a new podcast too, hila can't because she has no personality, she was riding on his coattails.

I mean hila klein would be a fun fuck but you'd get bored after awhile

I have and I agree with you. The code it generates its unreadable dog shit. That means if all your code ends up as AI code you'll basically be forced to pay a subscription to maintain it.
For code I've hand written I allow it to fix bugs and periodically re-write all the slop how I like it. But for software that I've vibe coded I'll never touch it. It's crazy good at how it codes now. It does write bugs and they still get missed. But IMO: so do humans. You just have to ensure you create an obstacle cause to verify the software works. It can make that for you though there is a bit of a logical flaw here:
you're now having to trust that it correctly implements the obstacle test designed to test code that it wrote because you don't trust it. That's kind of a contradiction since if you can't trust it how do you trust that it's writing good what you say correctly? By being letting reality dictate correctness. Dog fooding helps here.

^Have you looked at the code it generates? Small things are okay but it is a massive slop factory at a large scale. It gets to the point where you question if there are genuine bugs or if the code it made was such a mess that it made its own bugs
