^ no, i read about it after i put it up and it just seemed like schizo shit. it said that its never been tested in court and if it ever gets removed theres always ambiguity over what happened. it also said that its based on untested assumptions that might not even apply. like letting the canary elapse could be viewed as a violation of any gag orders. so for those reasons i just think its a bad idea akin to pseudo-science and "sovereign citizens." the real legal system is more complex and mostly everything can be over-ridden depending on who orders it.
i think having a canary up that people trust as a sign that signals a lack of glowies that might not even apply is harmful in itself. since it can just be abused to trick people.
