You can prove the contents that a HTTPS site served using cryptography. That means you can scale up downloaders without having to trust that the content they saw is accurate. Anyone could run a downloader to process embeds and be paid in mana. It might also be possible to do this client-side with web tech tbh. It would make it almost impossible to shut down embeds. But IG: if no one is interested then there are other options like free proxies, VPNs, archiving sites, etc.
yeah, no pressure. take care of yourself, let the glowmin seethe. if all else fails, we can always just quote embed his posts and make fun of them that way.

btw. to fix the "open on..." link, you just need to add a "noreferrer" to the rel parameter on the link.
currently it's rel="nofollow noopener ugc" -> rel="nofollow noopener ugc noreferrer".
that makes it so the browser doesn't send info about where the link was clicked.
looks like he blocked another ip. what a schizo.

very good advice, thank you feeler. cant believe glowmin is this butthurt over embeds.
andy doesn't mind either, he is happy to let you use his wizhole any way you want, preferably in a position where he can still hold the controller and play his baby games.
tolerate your brother, your reward in heaven will be greater
i can take care of your brother for you, feeler. don't worry about it, he can have an a little "accident"

there's loads of free proxy services you can use. i'm assuming the glowmin is just blocking soupchan server IP currently, i doubt he's going through the logs and inspecting every single IP, so you can use a proxy service, either something free or cheap.
for example:
this one is mainly used for bypassing cors restrictions in the browser, but it's simple and free (gives you 10k requests per month which is more than enough).
https://corsproxy.io/
the API is dead simple, you just pass what url you want to fetch through a parameter, along with your API key.
you can google "free cors proxy", there's loads of them, some of them you don't even need to sign up.
If only there was a feeler in Adelaide to accomodate you tbh
by the way: it is possible to do this decentralized. Use a special cryptographic proof that a given website existed at a state at a given time. Feelers run software that has the code open source to help fetch requests for the chan queue. Then submit proofs of the content to soupchan. Soupchan checks the proofs and accepts the downloaded post. This means residential IPs appear on kikemin's website as normal users and look like normal activity. And there would be too many IPs to ban.
